Shavuot

Tomorrow night we are celebrating Shavuot. It is not only the day we received our holy and beloved Thora, it is also the day we got married to H-shem. I do not remember were I heard this Midrash but it says that the Thora, that H-shem gave us at Har Sinai can also be seen as the Ktuba, the Jewish Wedding Contract.

I dont know about you, but I think this is the most beautiful Midrash I heard. We are officially married to the one and only and he still loves us after so many years of fighting, humiliating and cheating.

Shavuot is the day when we remarry again. It is a day that G-d tells us that he still loves every single one of us. He is waiting for us to take, love and live his Thora. Sometimes we long for the love and attention of a boy or a girl. We do everything just to have a small piece of attention of that person. If we would only feel for one tiny second how much the real boss of the world really loves us. He is craving for OUR attention.

No matter were you will be tomorrow, try to feel the love and the true meaning of our Torah and feel how much it can change the world.
